I met my husband after a 15 month relationship with someone that I had no future with. I wasn’t looking for anything serious and we just happened to meet at work. When it started getting serious we had the kids talk, very early on. I’d always wanted kids and I told him it was a deal breaker, I didn’t want to get in another dead end relationship.
Just after our 5th anniversary we got married. In those 5 years I completed both my bachelors and masters degrees and started my career. We also bought our first home that year. Just a few months after we got married we started trying for a baby, unbeknownst that we were about to embark on the longest and most draining roller coaster ride of our lives.
Fast forward 5 years and we welcomed our little miracle, our son. The journey to have him was worth every single thing we had to go through to get him and he was the perfect addition to our home.
2 years later we welcomed our daughter. And another 3 years after that we are having another child.
